You may look like you're doing fine. That doesn't mean you feel fine.
You may be successful at work, dependable for everyone else, and still feel anxious, burned out, or disconnected from yourself. Therapy gives you a place to stop pretending you’re fine, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin making changes that actually feel different—not just look different from the outside.
My approach
what we can work on together
• Anxiety and overthinking that make it difficult to settle or feel present
• Burnout and chronic stress, even when you’re still managing to get everything done
• Trauma and nervous system patterns that keep you feeling guarded, reactive, or disconnected
• Depression or the sense that you’ve lost touch with yourself
• Life transitions that leave you unsure of what comes next
What is Yogology?
Yogology is the approach I created after seeing that understanding something intellectually doesn't always change how it feels. It brings evidence-based therapy together with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and an understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress. Â
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, trauma, depression, and difficult life transitions. Together, we look at thoughts and emotions, along with the patterns that show up in the body and daily life.Â
The work is practical, collaborative, and shaped around what feels useful to you. Sessions are available in person in Clayton and online.Â
I’ve been a licensed psychologist for more than 25 years. My additional training in mindfulness, somatic approaches, polyvagal theory, and yoga helps me pay attention to more than thoughts alone. We can work with what you understand, what you feel, and what your body has learned to expect.
