MY PATH

In dealing with my own battles with anxiety and depression, I learned first-hand how yoga and meditation can facilitate personal growth.

I have always had anxiety to some degree, but after going through something very traumatic, I finally asked for help and began traditional individual therapy on someone else's therapy couch. But, I felt stagnate and stuck. Everything I heard from the therapist was familiar to me as it was, often things, I have told my own clients. Essentially, as a psychologist I knew how to "talk the talk" but what was missing for me was the key component of how to "walk the walk."

It was not until I began yoga and meditation, that my "AHA" moment happened. I finally learned the importance of the mind/body connection and more importantly how to apply it and manifest the things I wanted in my everyday life. For me, my yoga mat became my therapy couch!

With that said, I do not undervalue the efficacy of therapy, but I strongly believe that more can be accomplished when you incorporate yoga and meditation into the therapy room. In fact, research has shown that the combination of the three modalities (yoga, meditation, and therapy) is ideal in addressing many symptoms people struggle with.

Hence, it has been my mission to use these research-based practices to help you manifest that which you desire in your life. I will work collaboratively with you to provide services tailored to your individual needs. I have coined this unique form of tri-service treatment option as Yogology.
